Hello Gorgeous people ;]

So I heard about Castor oil a looonnng time ago, but I only started using it regularly for a little more than a year now, and yes ... this thing REALLY works!!

Before I get into explaining how Castor oil works and how I personally use it, let me tell you the reason why I started using this oil - that I cannot live without anymore!

I have always had problems with my hair, and it was mainly due to health problems. The first time I started having struggles with hair was at the age of 12, and it was then when my mother noticed it and took me to see a doctor about my hair loss issue, and yes I did have some medical problems that led to hair loss. After that I did not have any hair loss issues for a while, not until the beginning of last year (2012) when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Continuous high blood sugar levels contributed to my hair thinning, and it bothered me a lot because people started pointing it out and it affected my confidence and self esteem, but thankfully I started taking medication and my body was back to normal after a few weeks, and that was when I began taking care of my beauty as well and started using Castor oil on my hair.

Castor oil has been used for hair and skin problems for a very long time in history, and it is believed to cure problems like hair loss, thinning and fine hair, as well as some minor skin problems due to it's anti-fungal properties and it's ability to cleanse deeply and get rid of bacteria, which in the long run would help the hair become healthier and thicker, and helps the skin heal.

At the beginning, I would use Castor oil 2 - 3 times a week for my hair, and the way I do it is I part my hair and massage some castor oil on the scalp and NOT on the hair, because it is so sticky and very hard to wash off, so putting Castor oil all over your hair is never a good idea! just massage it onto the scalp, that's how it's supposed to work. After I part my hair and massage it on the desired place, I would then gently brush my hair using a wide toothed comb and use my fingers to massage the area in small circular motion. It would be best to cover your hair using a hot towel or a shower cap once you're done applying the oil.

I started seeing a very small change in my hair after a number of weeks (you have to be very patient and consistent if you want this to work) and after a few months people started telling me that my hair is becoming much healthier, thicker and longer!!! I was thrilled and started sharing this beauty secret with all my friends, and it worked for them too :D

The good thing about Castor oil is that it works not only for head hair, but for eye brows (perfect if you want thicker eye brows) and eye lashes too! just be careful when applying it because you don't want it to get inside your eyes, that would be painful. My sister has been using Castor oil on her eye brows and it made her eye brows much thicker and darker, and they look really good now, I also have a friend who has been using Castor oil along with other products on her eye lashes, and she has been very happy with the results.

As for the skin, I personally did not achieve pleasing results when using Castor oil to cure some acne scarring , so I stopped using it on my skin. I was also a little scared of becoming hairy - I know that's crazy!! - but I heard that castor oil only promotes hair growth in areas where hair is destined to grow!! so ladies, applying Castor oil on your ski will NOT make you become hairy. I just did not see any change in my skin when using Castor oil, but it worked perfectly well for my hair!

If you are convinced and would like to try, I recommend you buy the black castor oil by Tropical Isle. You can buy it by clicking Here. It is very natural - no chemicals used - and can be trusted for external use.

In the end, I think the best advice I could give you when choosing to go for Castor oil to cure hair loss and thinning problems would be to stay consistent and very patient with it! it takes time... it took me almost a year to see a big change, so you should not give up :)

I hope you all have the beautiful hair you want ;)
