Another year has come to an end. Here is the fashion I loved the most in 2016.

The metallic touch on RTW certainly gave a powerful statement in the year of 2016, making it one of my favorite trends! I have always loved strong silhouettes and padding ... the metallic texture did just that.

To tone down the look, pair your metallic piece with a casual basic item, such as a basic shirt as seen below

Oscar de la Renta's floral midi-skirts made me swoon this year, and I think I will continue loving them for the many upcoming years. Wearing your midi-printed-skirt with an accentuated shoulder, or an off-shoulder shirt was on trend this year!

Ruffled designs dominated New York fashion week this year, as they appeared on everything from the basic white shirt to the midi skirt.

This trend certainly challenges your inner 90's child. Wear your shirts (even turtlenecks!) under your sleeveless satin dresses. This trend has taken us back to the 90's in a very good way. I was happy to see it makign a comeback in 2016, and I expect it to maintain its position in the upcoming year.

Again, this trends takes us back to the late 80's and 90's ... who can possibly not be in love with a touch of vintage?
