Many of you know that I have several good Indonesian friends, and one of my closest friends comes from Indonesia. I have been introduced to their wonderful culture a little over three years ago, and instantly I was drawn into it; their food, their clothing, their amazing landscapes as well as their niceties.

I am always proud to see the relationship between my country Oman and Indonesia prosper, and to have culture events within our capital Muscat to celebrate the differences, as well as the similarity between the two countries. Fashion is also a big factor which attracts me to Indonesia; I know several fashion designers from there whose work is splendid, and their traditional batik with all it's patterns and beautiful use of vibrancy attracts me every single time.

InaFair took place this year on 7th and 8th of October, and was a very chill event located on the rooftop of Muscat grand mall. The event held several fashion shows showcasing the Indonesian traditional dress.

In addition to fashion, the event also featured cultural performances, a children carnival as well as the multiple products which include apparel, jewelry and handicrafts..
