Richard Avedon
Certain photographs leave great impressions, thanks to the genius eyes behind them. Richard Avedon is one of the names that is marked in the history of fashion photography, mainly due to the great impressions his shots left to the eyes.


Avedon was born in New York in May 15, 1923. He grew to become a world-wide known fashion and portrait photographer, shooting the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and working with Diana Vreeland in controversial fashion shoots. One of his most known fashion shots rose to fame by the name of the 'elephants'.
