I am not sure if I belong to the valentines party or not, as I am a big believer in love but I do not wish to only celebrate it one day a year. The cliche romantic gestures honestly get me annoyed faster than a noisy child, and red roses aren't a favorite of mine either. I fully understand the struggle of choosing gifts for your significant other, and pledge to attempt making it easier for my readers today by providing a list of Balsam Picks for the 14th of February, 2016 coming up the following weekend.
This year - unlike previously - I am not focusing on gifts for her, but I am giving all my female readers suggestions to gift him. Please do keep in mind that these suggested gifts are very personally chosen.
For those who know me, will most likely guess that my adoration of reading and collecting books will have to have a print in today's list, which is why I am starting by offering two book suggestions that you can gift to your significant other this valentines day. A good book can never be a bad gift, as it serves as a great source of knowledge which is always admirable.
Personally, I do love a man with distinct and classy set of hobbies; I find it tremendously attractive when a man has a keen eye on winery and its making, although I am not a drinker myself! I guess I tend to enjoy listening about things I wouldn't usually do myself. A good suggestion for such wine lover would be BERRY BROS. & RUDD PRESS: Exploring And Tasting Wine Hardcover Book.
If your man is trying out to grow a beard, go ahead and give him a guidebook to do that! My point is: a good book about something he would enjoy or is willing to try out is always a good idea, unless he absolutely detests reading (which I find hard to believe by the way!)

Three other things I love about a man: him smelling good, a sexy good wallet and good pair of suede shoes! My picks today are: The Man Can gift basket, LANVIN Leather, Suede And Rubber Sneakers, and a Montblanc leather wallet in black.

A good watch is also another favorite of mine, but please do this if your man doesn't already have a favorite watch! I know that men are extremely picky with the watches they wear - based on what I have experienced so far! This can be a tricky gift to choose, so you must be comfortable with your man enough to know his taste and what sort of watch would be comfortable for him to wear.
I personally really like the SISTEM BLACK watch by swatch or a more fancy, expensive alternative the JUNGHANS MAX BILL STAINLESS STEEL AND LEATHER CHRONOSCOPE WATCH or JUNGHANS MEISTER TELEMETER CHRONOSCOPE STAINLESS STEEL AND LEATHER WATCH

Growing up with a father who loved a good pen as a gift, I find it hard to exclude that from today's list! also, as a big fan of Calvin Klein, a good set of 'man-gerie' (male lingerie) or swimwear is always a good idea.
