To many, summer is the best season of the year. It is the time where we all get together with friends, celebrate, family occasions and vacations, and times where we get to show off new fashion trends!

Choosing summer fashion outfits are not always the easiest thing to do, especially with a change in climate and - in some parts of the world - humidity could also influence your fashion choices. I only realized the importance of having a fool-proof summer style guide when I came back home for vacation and started going out with friends and family, because I realized that choosing an outfit which is summer appropriate could be slightly difficult; especially if you're like me and you're more of a fan for fall clothing.

So I decided to put together a special's style guide for when the sun comes down in these beautiful summer nights!

Please note that these outfit are not particularly aimed to be worn where I live (Oman), but in fact I picked several items that I personally liked and think would be suitable for the summer season.

Shades of Orange & red

For those who know me, it is obvious that I am personally not a very big fan of color and would rather wear earthy tones, neutrals, black and white. However, summer gives me the chance to always experiment with bolder color tones such as orange and the many different shades of red and pink! Chiffon and silk are what I like to call summer fabrics, make sure you interpret them on your outfit.

Inspired by earth tones accessories

For the love of neutral browns and earth-tones, I have to add earth toned jewelry and accessories to almost all my summer outfits (whenever I can!). I am currently loving delicate gold-tones jewelry for my hands, but statement nude high heeled shoes to finish up the outfit. Using such soft accessories for summer gives room for experimenting with clothing items.

Super White

White is the color we mostly refer to on hot sunny days, as it is thought to keep you cooler in such warm time of the year. I love the happiness and purity that white brings, therefore I had to include it in this style guide. Don't be afraid to pull the white on white trend this summer.

Experiment with prints

Prints have always been a favorite of mine, and summer tends to be the best season to experiment with them! I love floral prints for spring and summer, but that does not come as a restriction to experimentation with other sorts of prints. Mixing prints with colors such as blue shades and greens are hot this season. Also pairing them with full white and black.

Another favorite trend of mine is fringe. I have worn fringed items during spring this year, and I continued to do so for summer. I love fringed gold accessories like the Chloe earrings displayed on the image above.

Embellished flats

Flats are probably the one style item that I look forward the most for in summer! I no longer have to be stuck in boots and closed shoes. I am loving these Rene Caovilla flats which are very well embellished, making them look extremely feminine and summer ready!
