I follow the Elie Saab Live snapchat profile, because I love to stay up to date with everything made by the designer. His creations are truly a work of art, and he never fails to impress me with every single collection. This year's fall couture collection was no exception, and it fulfilled all my expectations and more.

Backstage it has been noticed by myself that the designer opted for unique gold-toned head pieces as the fundamental piece of accessory. It gave a feel of retro glamour which I anticipate tremendously.

The pieces mainly featured leaves and floral elements, so they also seemed to be inspired by nature which is something alot of designers rely on for their couture designs.

As for the makeup side of the show, it was kept simple for the skin with almost no visible signs of contour or harsh lipstick colors, but the eyes were lined on both the upper and lower lash line, giving focus on the eyes.

As for the runway itself, there are a few trends that were dominant. My personal favorites are the gold-toned dresses with tons of embellishments that are also inspired by floral, leaves and thus nature.

Elie Saab, as usual, also added few soft colors such as yellow, green, lilac purple, and soft salmon pink into the collection. He kept them coherent with each other by using the same types of patterns and embellishments; which usually represents his style of design.

One of my favorite Elie Saab touches is adding belts which camouflage with the dress materials, he always adds the perfect accessories to compliment the silhouette of the dress.

Deep purple shades come to me as the perfect color for fall, and I was so happy to see it interpreted in some designs - particularly the jumpsuit - in this collection

Bold shoulders can either break or make the design. I love the shoulder padding that Elie Saab has created in this collection. Especially the one with the fur-like texture, it really distinguishes those dresses from his other designs. They also give a sense of power for the woman wearing it.
