I am fully aware that individuality is a very important sector of creating a well put together environment or social habitat; similarly, I am fully aware that writing on such topic late on a Friday night may not be a great idea, however these kind of nights are the nights where Balsam Blabbers come out visibly.
Individuality - according to the dictionary - can be defined as the quality or character of a particular person or thing that distinguishes them from others of the same kind, especially when strongly marked. Some may see it as the separation in existence (which even I am not fully sure I understand the meaning of that). Growing up, I have been taught that the idea of individuality rises from the ability to stand alone as a separate character: your background, your ideas, thoughts, opinions, physical and social traits make you an individual; different from the rest.
Today I had a somewhat deep conversation with a group of my close friends, and we all agreed that one of us should be more certain of her opinions and thoughts, and that she should embrace her individuality more as she does indeed hold a solid foundation under her feet. In my view, at the end of the day it is your unique thoughts and outlook on life that makes you memorable and stand out from a crowd, and I strongly stress on the topic of valuing your opinions and thoughts but with an open mind!
In a world where it is extremely easy to be drifted from our personal goals and train of thought, one should always remind him/herself about the importance of maintaining individuality.
