It's the time of the year where all that matters to anybody fashion-conscious is the Paris Haute Couture fashion week, myself included - sadly I am also distracted by university work and exams :'(
Anyway, since it is couture week in Paris, I wanted to share with my personal favorite couture looks from this year's spring couture fashions that I found extremely impressive! I will be focusing on my thoughts on three shows wich have been a highlight from this spring's highly anticipated haute couture shows!
Giambattista Valli put together several stunning looks for this spring, I particularly love the shear texture with the floral interpretation which gives a very feminine touch to the almost unwearable couture fashion

Christian Dior on the other hand focused on well sculpted dresses and skirts, which is always exciting because it really accentuates the figure of the dress

Atelier Versace was all about non-symmetry and geometry, including cut-outs and such irregular forms on the dress, making their collection quite unique for spring. White was also quite noticeable from the show which is always a good idea!

All in all, I found that this year's spring couture fashions focused on vibrant colors and whites, where you can see many vibrant colors spring-friendly from the Chanel show - which honestly I was not extremely fond of :(
Similarly, cut-outs and shear fabrics have been spotted throughout the week so far and will most likely continue to show up for the upcoming shows. As for the beauty aspect of this spring's couture shows, I noticed the simplicity and lack of over the top styling in many of the shows which again is only natural for the spring season.
Let me know your thoughts and opinion, I'd love to read them all :)
