One of the things that I really like about being back home in Oman is having a nicer kitchen to work in, and being able to make new recipes and try out recipes recommended by my very own mother. 

Today, I made a very healthy and filling breakfast for my mom and my sisters, which was inspired by a recipe that mom mother read about online and tried out herself! It is a recipe - you have to read this! - that promises to give you a larger ass *according to my mom*

What you need - serves four persons:

  • 1 tomato
  • 2 medium sized potatoes
  • 2 small onions
  • Some green onion (personal preference)
  • Salt & black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 5 eggs

Procedure:

  1. Let the 5 eggs and 2 potatoes boil
  2. Chop the vegetables into small cubes/circles and set aside
  3. Put the olive oil on a sauce pan, and heat
  4. Put the onions into the sauce pan, and stir until browned
  5. Add the tomatoes to the sauce pan, along with the soy sauce and spices. By this time, the eggs and potatoes could be ready.
  6. Take the potatoes and mash without using salt. Just mash the potatoes as they are
  7. Take the boiled eggs and slice them into smaller parts
  8. Add the mash potato to the vegetable mix and mix everything together
  9. Add the eggs and mix everything together, making sure that you do not mash the egg yolks or the eggs into smaller pieces
  10. Add any seasoning to taste 
  11. Serve hot :) and enjoy =]
