If there is one message that I would like to send across to my readers, it would be - without any doubt - the idea of having fashion as more than just the clothes you wear, but rather an expressive form of art, an instant language, and a cultural identity.

Today's Style Pick is very personal to me, and is probably very heart thrilling to all of those who are victims of fashion. This is because today, I would like to write about how my choice of fashion items are usually chosen with great care in order to be in some way expressive of what I feel inside, and sometimes my culture and thoughts.

One of the main reasons why I believe you should choose what you wear carefully is that these days, human contact is very subtle and quick, making it very difficult for people to properly communicate. Thus, what you wear and how you portray yourself to the public is important for a first impression. Of course, I am not in any shape or form saying clothes are the only determination to your first impression! other things like manners and speech are obviously a top priority, however, fashion does really play a big role in that field.

I think this thought is very well expressed by Miuccia Prada when she said:

"What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language."

As for today's style picks, I would like to introduce one of my favorite trends in accessories - that can also be implemented in clothes, home decor and other collectible items! This trend basically puts together culture and fashion under the same roof, where cultural aspects are expressed in a fashionable way, such as bracelets with cultural embroidery or colors and many other ideas.

As an Arab, I grew up being 'forced' by my mother to always wear golden jewelry in celebrations and special occasions, not realizing how much gold and the things my mother 'forced' me to wear meant to our culture and style back home. As I got older, I found myself longing to always wear such items in order to express my culture and background to the rest of the world, without having to express a single word!

So enough with the Balsam Blabber, and let me share with you today's style picks, which feature  products from a middle eastern/north african brand known as Ananasa! (make sure you check out their site here! you won't regret it)

I came across Ananasa's products and I thought they would be a perfect fit for today's style picks, mainly because they feature a variety of products and accessories that have an arab or cultural feel to them, making them really special to me. Like these below!
