5th of December - 2013: The world lost Nelson Mandela.
A man who's life was - and will always remain - an inspiration to all living souls in this planet. A man who was able to gain his title as an international icon of peace; which is something not any man is able to do. The world faced such a tragic loss on the day of his death, as we have lost a figure that provides guidance, reconciliation and inspiration.
Few days before the death of Mandela, my eldest sister told me that she was planning on reading his autobiography, which made me interested in reading it as well. I looked up his autobiography and I thought it would certainly be a great next read to feature on AlBalsamLife.com. It came as a shock to me to hear - a few days later - that Nelson Mandela passed away. My urge to read his amazing achievements was strong, but now even stronger.
In order to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela with my beloved readers, I cannot help but yearn for some wise words from this amazing inspiring personality that Mandela had. I would like to share with you some of his most memorable quotes that mean so much to me
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
"It always seems impossible until its done"
"Money won't create success, the freedom to make it will"
"Forget the past"
"There's no such thing as part freedom"
"... if there's anything that would kill me it is to wake up in the morning not knowing what to do"
"People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite"
